Criaterra develops sustainable building and finishing materials made from fully recyclable natural materials, using a bonded-stone technology that requires no high-temperature firing. The production process saves up to 90% of the energy and emits only about 20% of the carbon dioxide compared with standard manufacturing. The company's wall tiles have been installed in more than 150 projects, and it is supported by funding from the European Union's Horizon program.
