4M Analytics is building a "Google Maps of the underground" — mapping buried infrastructure such as electricity, water, gas and telecom lines by analyzing aerial imagery, historical records and sensor data. The company, which grew out of landmine-detection technology, gives engineering and infrastructure firms an accurate picture of what lies below before the first shovel hits the ground.
